Resort Overview Videos
Other 8:06 A 2014 P-can FACTORY clip introducing the new ground-trick park at Ryuoo Ski Park: how to use the two small steps for ollie practice, a three-faced kicker that grows with your take-off point, and a session with a resort digger, followed by a dawn trip to build new features.
POV 4:32 P-can FACTORY's Takato Taniguchi freerides Ryuoo Ski Park in December 2020: ollies off terrain, ground tricks and carving turns to a music track, with the description praising the terrain play and the snow at the time. No spoken commentary.
Vlog 26:32 A summer travel vlog with Japanese and English subtitles: train from Nagano to Yudanaka, the free bus to the Ryuoo ropeway, SORA Terrace at 1,770 m, the Sora Terrace Cafe menu, a night in a dome tent at the glamping site halfway up the ski slope, and a sea of clouds at sunset.
Other 3:36 A short P-can FACTORY lesson from Ryuoo in January 2021 on riding bumpy slopes and powder the easy way: look for the soft mounds where a wall forms, turn there so the snow holds you, and avoid turning where the base is scraped, with demonstrations in chopped snow. Captions are heavily garbled.
POV 10:45 Iguchan sessions Ryuoo's natural walls and banks with pro rider Reo Takahashi and the head of his park and ground-trick school: follow-cam trains, wall rides and jumps on a good-condition December day, with a plug for the school's lessons and the sticker given to students.
Vlog 11:30 A high-school graduation trip vlog: a 4:42 am start, a five-hour bus to Ryuoo Ski Park, a first-ever snowboard session without the free beginner lesson because sign-up had already closed, slow falling-leaf descents, onigiri and crepes, and a reminder to check the lesson hours in advance.
Overview 0:43 An official 43-second short in which a staff member tries Ryuoo's free snowboard-debut lesson: a moving belt to the practice area, boot and binding basics, one-foot sliding, side-slipping with an instructor's support, and even lift-exit practice, all free and without reservation.
Vlog 11:11 Opening day at Ryuoo Ski Park on 7 December 2024 after a big natural dump: snowy road and shuttle from the lower car park, the 166-person ropeway into whiteout, fluffy powder on the summit quad with boxes already set and walls to play on, then a piano session and new menu at SORA Terrace Cafe.
Vlog 4:55 A late-April 2019 clip from Hachine channel noting that Ryuoo Ski Park plans to stay open until Golden Week and announcing a collaboration event with other snow YouTubers at the resort on 3 and 4 May, located via the Yukiyama app. The spoken parts are mostly garbled; riding footage with music fills the rest.
Vlog 4:19 Iguchan's early-December 2021 visit to Ryuoo Ski Park, recommended for beginners: shuttle bus up, a forgotten season pass, the ropeway to the top lift, and a surprising amount of natural snow rather than man-made. The captions are mostly noise over riding footage.
Other 6:46 A P-can FACTORY technique lesson filmed at Ryuoo in January 2021: how to enjoy bumpy, chopped-up powder by starting turns before each mound and pushing into it, side-slipping through the softest sections, and using the terrain to brake and float. The auto-captions are badly garbled.
Overview 0:16 A 16-second official teaser for the Kiotoshi course at Ryuoo Ski Park: a word-play voiceover on the word otoshi leading into the resort's roughly 1.4 km ungroomed powder run, which is experts-only with helmets required.
Overview 3:16 Version 2 of Ryuoo Ski Park's official theme song video from December 2024: a catchy jingle listing the resort's pitches, free daily snowboard-debut lessons with no booking, free helmets, parks, SORA Terrace Cafe dishes, the ropeway, snow buggy cruises, the Spirits Grill, and access from Shinshu-Nakano and Tokyo.
Overview 0:30 A 30-second gelanding+ short from Ryuoo's upper Skyland area after snowfall in early February 2022: music over powder riding with no narration, so the area name appears only in the title and description.
Overview 0:27 A 27-second official short from January 2025 on Ryuoo's Green Park: six features currently set up with up to four hits in a line, shown with music and no narration.
Overview 2:54 A three-minute resort showcase of Ryuoo Ski Park from the gelanding+ channel, shot in early February 2022 with rider Go Biyajima: music over footage of the mostly gentle slopes and the helmet-mandatory ungroomed steep course, with no narration.
Overview 1:38 An official 98-second short titled as a top-to-bottom run of Ryuoo's signature Kiotoshi course, set to the resort theme song. The only spoken audio is the jingle, so the course itself is never described in words; the description calls it fully ungroomed and about 1,400 m long.
POV 8:48 A ground-trick snowboarder comes to Ryuoo to film the 6,000 m long run uncut, is refused at the expert-only gate for having no helmet, and instead films a nonstop top-to-bottom run from the highest lift with tricks and park hits, in soft spring snow with thin cover lower down.
Overview 0:37 A 37-second short from a Kanagawa outing channel pitching Ryuoo Ski Park as a place you can play all day without getting tired: a view over Nagano from near the summit, a sea of clouds when timing is right, soft powder that makes falls painless for beginners, and a popular restaurant with a view.
Overview 0:26 A 26-second official short from February 2025 on Ryuoo's Green Park, repeating that six features are set up with up to four hits in a line, shown with music and no narration.
Overview 0:18 An 18-second official short from March 2025 reminding viewers that Ryuoo's night skiing runs until 22 March, with a different atmosphere from daytime and a good setting for quietly practising ground tricks. Music only.
Vlog 6:49 A 2017 couple's day at Ryuoo Ski Park after a four-hour overnight bus from Tokyo: real deep snow for once, short lift lines compared with a previous trip, mellow wide runs, a friend sinking into a powder hole, and plenty of sitting in the snow enjoying the view.
Vlog 8:54 A mother and her high-school daughter open their 2025-26 season at Ryuoo Ski Park for the third year running: clear skies, good snow but little pitch on the lower runs, goals for the season, and a short morning of about ten runs before the snow turns heavy.
Vlog 9:12 Episode 2 of a van-life snowboard series: five converted vans reunite at a roadside station near the snow monkeys and ride Ryuoo Ski Park on a powder day, describing the long lift chain to the ropeway, the helmet rule on the steep course, and dry champagne powder on the mellow summit runs.
Overview 0:11 An 11-second official short marking the start of Ryuoo Ski Park's 2024-25 season in December 2024, with the resort theme song and a link to the winter page. No narration.
Overview 0:45 A 45-second official short announcing the renovated Ryuoo Spicy Rental shop for the 2024-25 season: fill in the form, register at the counter, then pick up boards and wear in a bright, spacious new interior stocked with higher-end brands.
Vlog 2:33 An Indonesian creator's one-day Orio Tour bus trip from Tokyo to Ryuoo Ski Park in December 2022, edited to music; the description says the overnight bus and single-day tour were enough for the visit. No spoken detail survives in the captions.
Vlog 13:39 A carving session at Ryuoo on 22 December 2025, the day after heavy rain: minus one degree, light snow falling, and a rock-hard icy base with maybe 2 cm on top. The riders link three lifts, report the upper slopes unpistened and bumpy, find a smoother line off the second lift, and recommend the taco rice.
Other 2:42 A Shinano Mainichi newspaper clip from February 2025 of Ryuoo's free snowboard-debut lesson: how to set a board down, fall safely onto your backside, control speed with edge angle, and a beginner's first slides, including an apology after a small collision.
Overview 0:15 A 15-second official short from February 2025 inviting riders to enjoy top-quality powder at Ryuoo; the description expects colder weather and good snow, with the signature Kiotoshi course likely to come into condition. Music only.
POV 15:37 A January 2026 riding video of Ryuoo's summit area and SORA Terrace from a hobby channel, shot after an earlier visit that only reached the lower slopes. The audio is music with a few spoken fragments, so the courses are shown rather than described.
Vlog 14:39 A Filipino snowboarder's day at Ryuoo Ski Park in 2023: buying tickets, 500 yen lockers, rental gear, learning to ride with one foot strapped in, friends filming each other, lunch at the on-mountain cafe, lifts closing around 4:15 pm, and dinner at Big Boys on the way home.
Vlog 2:52 Episode 23 of a Life in Japan series: a Filipino creator's third and last snowboard day of the 2024 season at Ryuoo Ski Park, practising S-turns and eating on the mountain. The spoken Tagalog is lost in the captions, so no course details are available.
Vlog 15:50 A snowboarder tests her new Bataleon camber board over a few days at Ryuoo in early January 2026: fresh snow up top, a tree run, her first night boarding session, a ski-in hotel on the slope reached by snowmobile shuttle, a powder face-plant, coffee at Sora Cafe and kebab afterwards.
Vlog 3:20 A December 2020 powder day at Ryuoo Ski Park from the Keteny brothers: cold, good-looking conditions, a new board for the season, and the message that even gentle slopes are fun in powder if you ride them creatively. Captions are mostly unreliable over music-backed footage.
Vlog 5:12 Part 1 of a first-time snowboarding trip vlog: an overnight bus to Kitashiga Ryuoo Ski Park, arrival at 6:30 am, the rental queue, a first look at the slopes, and a dinner and bath to close day one. Very little is said about the riding itself.
Vlog 2:42 A January 2021 first-time snowboarding clip at Ryuoo Ski Park from a Filipino channel, set to music with no usable speech; the description says it was the creator's first experience sliding on snow in full gear.
Review 18:29 A child skier in his third season reviews Ryuoo Ski Park for families and beginner kids: the 166-person ropeway, SORA Terrace at 1,770 m, gentle wide courses, lifts that slow to a stop for loading, the moving walkway from the car park to the Valley lifts, and an honest note on the hotel.
Vlog 25:32 A 2020 group vlog of Filipino friends snowboarding at Ryuoo Ski Park in Nagano: travel banter in Tagalog, introductions on the slope, long music montages of riding and falling, and a celebratory dinner afterwards. The auto-captions are unreliable and no course names are spoken.
Other 3:39 An official recap of the NIGHT JIB WARRIORS event held under the lights at Ryuoo Ski Park on 18 February 2017, co-hosted with the Kagura park crew and sponsored by Murasaki Sports: jib runs, cheering, prize-giving and thanks. No course content.
Vlog 0:16 A 16-second clip of SORA Terrace at Ryuoo in November 2021 with music and a single spoken phrase; a scenic snippet with no skiing or course content.
POV 6:14 A February 2018 snowboarding montage at Ryuoo Ski Park from the 7 Discover channel, titled in English and Traditional Chinese, with riding footage over a pop song and no spoken commentary.
Vlog 15:42 A Nepali-language vlog of a first snow experience at Ryuoo Ski Park in Nagano in February 2025. The auto-captions capture almost nothing beyond foreign-speech markers, a wow at the top and goodbyes, so the content is the footage itself: arrival, first turns, the summit view and the trip home.
POV 1:01 A one-minute POV from 6 March 2020 of the first half of Ryuoo's Kiotoshi B course in rare March powder, per the title and description. Music only; the course is never named in speech.
Vlog 5:25 A Taiwanese family's one-day visit to Ryuoo Ski Park in January 2025 by rental car, highlighted by the large ropeway to 1,770 m. The auto-captions mistake the Mandarin narration for noise, so the transcript carries no detail; the description notes the self-drive approach.
Other 3:13 A July 2020 music clip of Ryuoo Mountain Park and SORA Terrace in green season from a hiking nurse channel: ropeway, terrace and summer views over Yamanouchi, with no narration and no winter content.
Vlog 8:08 A December 2019 music montage from a Filipino travel vlogger of Ryuoo Ski Park and SORA Terrace: the ropeway, snowy terrace scenes and winter views, with applause and music but no spoken commentary.
POV 1:58 A short 2023 teaser introducing Kitashiga Ryuoo as a powder treasure trove, from a rider using ZUMA skis and snowboard gear: music-backed riding clips with no spoken commentary beyond a greeting.
Vlog 33:47 Part 5 of a 14-day Japan series: a Filipino vlogger takes the free 20-minute shuttle from Yudanaka to Ryuoo Ski Park, describes it as a locals' day-trip hill that few overseas visitors pick and good for beginners, rides the ropeway, builds a snowman, and reacts to a rude encounter.
POV 4:07 A music-backed riding clip from 14 March 2021 at Ryuoo Ski Park and SORA Terrace by a hiking nurse channel: rime-covered trees and good snow despite warm March days, with the description noting the summit area planned to stay open until Golden Week.
POV 3:29 A 2019 helmet-cam run down Ryuoo's Skyland A course in powder on 21 January 2019, per the title. The audio is music only, so the course name is never spoken.
Vlog 31:47 An Indonesian group's day of skiing and snowboarding at Ryuoo Ski Park in March 2022, edited to music with brief greetings in Indonesian and a mention of a friend from Vietnam. No commentary about courses or conditions survives in the captions.
Vlog 33:23 A first-time snowboarder's day trip from Nagano city to Ryuoo Ski Park: asking at the station about the free 9:30 bus from Yudanaka, renting gear for about 5,000 yen plus a lift ticket, a lesson with an English-speaking instructor on standing up and stopping, foggy views, and the last bus back after 4 pm.
POV 0:49 A 49-second music clip titled Ryuoo Ski Park Route 2-1 from 22 January 2023: a single short riding sequence with no narration, so the route name in the title is never spoken or explained.
Vlog 2:36 A Malayalam-titled snowboarding trip video from Ryuoo Ski Park in March 2020: friends on the slopes set to music, described as a visit to one of the best ski resorts in Nagano. No spoken commentary in the captions.
POV 3:16 A 2019 helmet-cam run from Ryuoo's Skyland B course into C course, enjoying powder on 21 January 2019 according to the title. The audio is music only, so the course names appear in the title and description, never in speech.
Other 2:03 A generic AI-voiced hotel advertisement for T Hotel Nagano Ryuoo: check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am, a hot tub, free Wi-Fi, breakfast and dinner, children aged six and under free, and a gift shop, with a passing line about carving powder at Ryuoo Ski Park. No resort content.
POV 6:18 A June 2020 upload of winter footage from Ryuoo Ski Park in Nagano: a music-driven six-minute edit including the ropeway, with a few garbled spoken fragments and no identifiable commentary about courses.
POV 2:49 A 2019 helmet-cam run down Ryuoo's Skyland B course in powder on 21 January 2019, per the title. Music only, so the course is never named in speech.
Other 2:29 A short clip from the Valley area of Ryuoo in February 2023 whose only audio is the resort PA: the Beauty Park Dragon Station closes at 3 pm, the slopes stay open until 5 pm with no night skiing that day, and riders are asked to watch for others and not run into the trees.
