Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field Guide
白馬岩岳スノーフィールドHakuba Iwatake Snow Field sits on a free-standing, dome-shaped peak in the heart of the Hakuba Valley in Hakuba Village, Nagano, prized for the 360-degree panorama of the Northern Alps from its summit. It offers 26 courses across a 539-metre vertical drop and roughly 120 hectares, with wide intermediate cruisers, tree runs, and gentle family slopes, all fed by the same Sea of Japan storms that power the surrounding Hakuba Valley resorts. The mountaintop doubles as a year-round sightseeing destination, home to the Hakuba Mountain Harbor viewpoint and lounge.
