The mountain
高津倉山 (Takatsukura-yama) 1,181 m
- Landform
- Takatsukura-yama is not a volcano. The lifts reach its top, and from there the hill carries on sideways instead of up: the runs link over the ridge into Ishiuchi-Maruyama on one side and down to Yuzawa Kogen on the other.
- Rock
- The rock is Miocene marine mudstone, the same the whole way down. The hill is compacted sea floor mud that was lifted. The rock is soft, so the shapes here are rounded.
